These terms govern your use of the Clocked app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.

The app

Clocked estimates the speed of things that move, using your phone's camera. It is provided as-is.

What the estimates are, and are not

Every speed Clocked shows is an estimate. It depends on the distance, the angle, the light and how steady the phone is, and it can be wrong. Clocked is not a radar or a calibrated speed-measuring device. Do not use it for law enforcement, as evidence, or anywhere an inaccurate reading could hurt someone or damage something.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it stable and pleasant to use, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zone7 Studios Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Where our liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the app or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and using the app after a change means the updated terms apply. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you break these terms, and we may withdraw an app from the stores or stop updating it. None of this affects the consumer rights you have under law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Nothing here affects any consumer rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
